Refrigerant R290 Adventures

Zero Ozone Layer Depletion: R290's molecular structure does not contain chlorine atoms, resulting in an Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) of zero, meaning it does not harm the ozone layer.
Low Global Warming Potential: Its Global Warming Potential (GWP) is extremely low, approaching zero, making its contribution to global warming significantly less than traditional refrigerants such as R134a, which has a GWP of up to 1430.
Naturally Degradable: After equipment containing R290 is discarded, the refrigerant can quickly decompose in the natural
environment, causing no long-term pollution.
High Energy Efficiency Ratio: R290 boasts high refrigerating efficiency, providing a higher Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER), making appliances and other equipment more energy-efficient.
